Have you ever imagined that this giant disease could have a natural cure? It has continued to become a global concern throughout the years. The author of this book gives insights into how the disease develops and natural remedies to curb it. The author continues with what her father started, that is, proper research on natural cures for various types of cancer. Mirko Beljanski, PhD, who is the author's father, discovered two plants that could be processed into cancer drugs. These were Pao pereira and Rauwolfia vomitoria. The French government fought hard to bring him down because of the competition that he was bringing to other cancer curative methods. However, Sylvie, his daughter, promised to take the case to the European Court of Human Rights, make sure the products would continue to be available, and continue doing research with those extracts. How did this go?

I love the way the author gives relevant scientific references to her content. Every concept is explained in detail, with several references included where one can get more information. The author also acknowledged the contribution that various other researchers made toward developing the drugs. She worked with a multidisciplinary team, and she recognized their efforts. The author's determination is top-notch. She worked by creating the Beljanski Foundation, which worked to ensure that her father's legacy was carried forward. The various anecdotes included in the book were also paramount, as they made the events more real. The story about the author's family, how she grew up, and how they fought with the French government was well set for the book.

There is nothing to dislike in the book. I found only one grammar error while reading the book, which makes me say that it is well-edited. The book is well-detailed for proper understanding. These positives make me give Winning the War on Cancer: The Epic Journey Towards a Natural Cure by Sylvie Beljanski a perfect rating. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend it to anyone battling cancer or anyone who has a loved one diagnosed with cancer. It is a great encouragement to such, as it gives hope that cancer can be cured. I learned that keeping negative thoughts and emotions may be a cause of cancer, and I should, therefore, take care of myself in all aspects.
