"The Atlantis Cure" by Pierce Roberts is a gripping science fiction novel set during a devastating global pandemic. With more than 20% of some city populations decimated and governments floundering, the world teeters on the brink of extinction. Amidst this chaos, an ancient prophecy hints at a cure hidden in a long-lost stone tablet from Atlantis. The tablet, split into two parts and separated for millennia, must be reunited to unlock the cure. Joseph Blackwater, a Native American with Atlantean heritage, leads a group of scientists in their desperate quest to decipher the tablet and save humanity. As they struggle against malevolent forces intent on destruction, they are bolstered by supernatural aid. Did they succeed? Get the book to find out.

This book offers an engaging blend of science fiction, ancient prophecy, and thrilling adventure. The novel deftly combines the urgency of a global pandemic with the intrigue of an ancient mystery, creating a compelling narrative that keeps readers on edge. The characters, especially Joseph Blackwater, bring a unique cultural and historical depth to the story. While the book is part of the Destroyer series, it stands out with its timely themes and imaginative plot, making it a captivating read for both fans of the series and newcomers alike.

My favorite character in this book is Joseph Blackwater. As a Native American with Atlantean DNA, Joseph stands out not only for his unique heritage but also for his crucial role in the quest to save humanity. His deep connection to his ancestors and the ancient prophecy was captivating. Joseph's determination, bravery, and leadership, combined with his mystical heritage, make him a compelling and inspiring figure in the fight against the global pandemic and the malevolent forces threatening the world.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars for its masterful blend of high-stakes science fiction, rich historical mythology, and compelling character development. The interplay between scientific discovery and supernatural elements creates a captivating read that successfully balances excitement with thoughtful storytelling, making it a standout in the genre. The book is excellently edited. I found nothing to dislike in this book.

I recommend this book to fans of science fiction and adventure who enjoy a blend of historical mythology and modern-day crises.
