E. M. P. Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is a sci-fi thriller about a couple's honeymoon gone wrong. Kelly and Tom Turbulo's idyllic island getaway is interrupted when Kelly stumbles upon a dangerous terrorist plot. Realizing the imminent threat, she contacts her brother, Senator Mike McBride, who seeks help from his friend, Assistant Director Joseph. The story unfolds as they race to prevent a large-scale attack on North America.

The characters, especially Cynthia and Sky, felt real and relatable, thanks to the author's talent. Overall, the book was both entertaining and insightful, reminding me of the value of selflessness.
