E. M. P. Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is a sci-fi thriller about a couple's honeymoon gone wrong. Kelly and Tom Turbulo's idyllic island getaway is interrupted when Kelly stumbles upon a dangerous terrorist plot. Realizing the imminent threat, she contacts her brother, Senator Mike McBride, who seeks help from his friend, Assistant Director Joseph. The story unfolds as they race to prevent a large-scale attack on North America.

An edge-of-your-seat action thriller, this standalone installment in the McBride series dives into a thrilling attempt to thwart a terrorist attack on North America. The story centers around a remarkable couple, Kelly, a computer whiz, and Tom Turbulo, a city policeman, who put their honeymoon on hold to join the mission. Their unique skill sets prove to be invaluable, and their unwavering dedication is truly inspiring. Filled with cliffhangers, this book is a must-read for anyone who enjoys fast-paced suspense.

The book was a captivating read. The author's masterful storytelling kept me hooked from beginning to end. Dorothy's vivid descriptions, particularly those of the nuclear weapon's impact, were suspenseful and thought-provoking. The characters, especially Cynthia and Sky, felt real and relatable, thanks to the author's talent. Overall, the book was both entertaining and insightful, reminding me of the value of selflessness.

The book was well-written and very engaging. The scientific concepts used within the book were very well explained by the author, making it easy for the reader to understand. The characters felt like real people, and I enjoyed reading about how they worked together to overcome challenges. I have no negative remarks about this book.

This suspense-filled romance and action novel, packed with new ideas, gets a perfect 5 out of 5 star rating from me. This book was also very well edited, with no errors. If you enjoy gripping stories, this book is a perfect fit for you.
