“E M P Honeymoon” is an exciting story born from the author’s imagination, related to the aftermath of an EMP attack. The book depicts the life of a young couple, Grant and Lisa Matthews, whose honeymoon turns horrific when paradise becomes a nightmare. Marooned in a remote place without the comforts and facilities of the twenty-first century, they are forced to live in a society regressed to the age of early knights.

The quality of writing is magnificent, with tempting plot development, a well-set pace, and a story that keeps the reader perched throughout. The author is very effective in portraying the failure of all technology and the effect it has on the surrounding society in the first moments of ‘The Fall’. Grant and Lisa are the two prominent figures, portrayed with complexity, struggling, and adapting throughout the story.

One of the notable features of “E M P Honeymoon” is its focus on the events and consequences of the EMP strike. The author invests a lot of time in research, giving the reader an incredible outlook on what such an event could be like. The tension rises from the fact that a likeable couple transforms from a honeymoon to a fight for survival amid murder and mayhem.

The storyline of the book does not contain any eroticism and therefore can be enjoyed by anyone. The language is clean and free of profanity. Additionally, there are no significant typographical or grammatical errors interrupting the flow of the text.

“E M P Honeymoon” is a classic example of the author’s skill in blending a love story, thriller, and survival tale into one masterful work. The book is not only an effective thriller but also provokes contemplation about the potential impact of force majeure events on humanity.
It is for that reason that I give it 5 out of 5 stars. I believe this book should be read by those who like post-apocalyptic and survival stories.
