Years have passed since the vampires took over the world. They live side by side with humanity while they rule them with an iron fist. But nothing stays perfect forever. Seargent Charles Gray finds himself racing against time as he must uncover the truth about his past, find the leader who's been starting an uprising against the vampires, and come to terms with the fact that ancient beings exist and have been hidden behind a barrier. He must work with his new nerve-wracking partner, Seraphina Ginevra, to stop the people responsible for trying to break the barrier, but it's easier said than done as the people responsible are their own siblings. Will they be able to stop the uprising, or will they join the dark forces that threaten to overtake the world? Join them on their journey to find out what becomes of them in the end.

No Truce With The Vampires, written by Martyn Rhys Vaughan, is a phenomenal crime thriller that will have you wanting to finish it in one go. The scenes in the book are very vividly detailed, and I honestly felt as if I were on the journey with Seargent Gray. There were so many parts of the book that I loved that I find it difficult to single out just one.

There was nothing to dislike about the book, and it was well edited, which showed professionalism in the author's writing; hence, I rate it a 5 out of 5.

The book contains mystery, crime, thriller, vulgarism, gore, and sexual content and is not for the faint of heart. So if you are one of those millions out there that enjoy reading a good sci-fi book while relaxing, then this book is definitely for you. Take a sneak peek into the world of vampires and the unknown.
