[Following is a volunteer review of "Snatched Up to Heaven!" by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul.]
Snatched Up to Heaven! by Jemima Paul, Ph.D., with Arvind Paul is a unique non-fiction Christian book in which Jemima's daughters, Priyanka and Deepika, share the visions of heaven and hell. One day in 2011, Jemima’s four-year-old daughter, Priyanka, told Jemima that she had a dream about heaven. Jemima, who holds a doctorate in Christian education, not only recorded Priyanka’s stories but also compared them with the Scripture and included quotes from the Bible and the analysis supporting the veracity of these visions. In addition, Jemima included family photographs, Priyanka’s and Deepika’s drawings of their visions, and links to their video testimonies about heaven and hell.
I enjoyed every moment of reading Jemima and Arvind Paul’s Snatched Up to Heaven! Every aspect of this book is praiseworthy. Jemima’s motherly love for Priyanka and Deepika shines through every line of this fascinating book. In addition, Jemima’s thorough knowledge and analysis of the Bible and dedication to God make this book a real treat for everyone curious about what the Bible says about heaven and hell. I found Jemima’s analysis of the Bible verses very educational. Priyanka's descriptions of heaven and hell were both entertaining and fascinating. It felt astounding how accurately Priyanka saw things described in the Bible that, at her age, she could not know. Only a couple of moments surprised me: first, Priyanka did not mention dogs among the residents of heaven. And in Priyanka’s drawing on page 127, the devil looks like a dog. I do not see these moments as drawbacks. Rather, they amused me, as I ought to give regard to and respect Priyanka’s tender age at the time of these visions. I would be very interested to read a later account of Priyanka’s future dreams about heaven.
This book was impeccably edited, as I did not find a single error. I enjoyed every aspect of this book, and there is nothing I disliked about it. So, I happily rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
This brilliant book will appeal to everyone who enjoys Christian literature.
