Review of Entanglement - Quantum and Otherwise
Entanglement - Quantum and Otherwise by John K. Danenbarger is a story about the entanglement of eight main characters because of love, murder, and dysfunctional lives.
The story masterfully cultivates a deep sense of attachment and connection between the reader and each of its multifaceted characters. The author has crafted richly nuanced individuals, each with their own unique motivations, flaws, and personal histories. This level of authenticity allows the reader to empathize with the characters and understand their perspectives.
The reader’s connection to the characters is further enhanced with various narrative techniques, such as short paragraphs, multiple points of view, flashbacks, and introspective passages. The book uses simple language to explore the inner thoughts, emotions, and personal struggles of the individuals. Without too many complex vocabulary or sentences, readers can engage with the characters easily and intimately.
Additionally, Entanglement - Quantum and Otherwise successfully connects the storylines of each character together. Although the book often jumps between points of time and points of view, it is easy to follow the shared experiences and relationships of each character. In particular, readers will be drawn into the dynamic between Beth, Kevin, and Joe. I was very eager to find out what happens to them in the end. If you wish to know if the characters earn their happy ending, give this book a read.
When approaching this story, readers would be well-advised to brace themselves for a profoundly emotional and impactful journey. At certain points, the story delivers several “gut punch” moments that are sure to leave a lasting impression. As the reader becomes invested in the characters' lives, they find themselves emotionally invested in the outcomes, leaving them vulnerable to the unexpected twists and turns that upend their expectations.
To sum up, Entanglement - Quantum and Otherwise is a captivating book with awesome, realistic characters. Readers who enjoy crime stories, non-heterosexual relationships, family drama, and the psychology of murder will find this book fascinating. The only drawback of this book is the editing. I found many errors while reading, so the editing needs improvement. Therefore, I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. Although this book does not get a perfect rating because of this drawback, I am eager to read the book again.
