[Following is a volunteer review of "The Date Farm" by Jack Winnick.]
The Date Farm by Jack Winnick tells a fantastic story about a series of attacks planned and carried out by terrorists. This is a crime thriller in the Lara and Uri series that introduces the two main characters, Lara Edmund, an FBI agent, and Uri Levin, a Mossad agent, once again as they unite to curb terrorist attacks.
There were a couple of attacks that occurred in the United States, like a sad incident that happened in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, in a shopping mall where many lost their lives and injuries were inflicted on many too. This attack didn’t stop as there were constant threats, but the couple, Uri and Lara, went on vacation, so they were away from duty. Their vacation was an enjoyable one, which they had to return from as they received a call to return to duty. They were given a task to investigate and uncover the mysteries behind the terrorist attacks. Their quest to discover this led them to a date farm. What do they do on the date farm? Were they able to successfully carry out the task? Pick up a copy of the book to find the answers to these questions.
I found a lot of positive aspects in the book that I consider great and interesting. The book has an intriguing storyline, and I like the different plot twists. The action moments in the book are next to none, and I really enjoyed every bit of it. The book is full of suspense, and it was really intense and needed as it created different emotions in the minds of readers. It also had me predicting what would unfold in the next scene. I also appreciate the character development because the characters were superbly developed and played a great and vital role in defining the plot of the book.
I didn’t find anything that I disliked about the book because I had a great time reading it, and I found no negative aspects about it. I’m rating the book five out of five stars because of the writing style of the author, the plot and setting, as well as the well-developed characters. There were no errors in the book because the editing was done exceptionally well. I am recommending the book to lovers of action and crime thrillers so they can read and enjoy this interesting book.
