The area of sales is one venture I have tried in the past and regretted; at that point, I came to respect salespeople and their jobs. Looking back, I ask myself, "Would I have done better if I had been coached properly and exposed to resources such as this book?" The answer is "yes." How to Be a SuperStar Salesperson by Audri White is a book crafted by a successful person in the sales world seeking to impart her knowledge to others at a meager cost.

The brief sales expository delves into the system of pitching ideas, products, and services effectively for fellow salespeople and others who like to learn the art of persuasion, as we all sell something (might be ourselves) in one way or another. Methodical techniques like SPIN [Situation, Problem, Implication, Need-Payoff] and FAB [Features, Advantages, and Benefits] help readers recognize structured approaches to engaging and selling successfully to potential customers. The author emphasizes the importance of listening to customers to establish rapport and ascertain how to sell to them.

What I enjoyed most were the stellar examples the author gave while explaining most points, along with verbal inclusions. This would enable the audience to practice what they have learned at each turn. Sales is a very competitive industry, and the skills discussed by the author are some that have helped her stand apart from the competition. I also commend how concise this book turned out to be without subtracting from its quality; this gives it an edge as it could be structured to fit into a busy schedule.

I disliked nothing about this book; it was straightforward, with many exciting scenes that allowed the audience to enjoy it. I also found the book cover and description catchy and mysterious. I encountered no errors, showing that this book was exceptionally well edited. Due to these reasons, I'm rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend it to salespersons seeking to hone their skills and audiences interested in non-fiction and learning something new.
