"The Solution is Political Revolution" by Jillion R. Rising aspires to foster national unity in the face of perceived governmental corruption. The author argues that, for decades, the political landscape has been manipulated by both Republicans and Democrats. They have used social and cultural issues, such as race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, and gender, to divide the population. This strategy aims to distract citizens from more critical matters, such as immigration and social justice reform. Meanwhile, Congress focuses on enriching itself through lobbyists and catering to Wall Street, creating fiat money that essentially robs the American people. These politicians rely on our participation to maintain this system. It's time for us to discard the labels that divide us and come together to reclaim our nation.

In his book, Jillion R. Rising goes into the intricate connection between America's financial and political systems. He traces the transition from the gold standard to the fiat money system, using charts and graphs that are quite helpful. Rising explains how various government programs have economically harmed our country. A particularly astonishing fact is that 10,000 baby boomers retire every day, raising concerns about the sustainability of Social Security payouts. He details how the surplus in this program has been misused and predicts its imminent collapse.

This book is highly informative, revealing many aspects of government operations that were new to me. While I knew that lobbyists and senators often collaborated for mutual gain, I was unaware of the extent of their deception and self-serving government programs. The author provides a thorough and sometimes dense explanation of events, key players, and the impact on the public. This isn't about conspiracy theories; the goal is to enlighten Americans about what's been going on. The author introduces several detailed and novel ideas, including a TV show to inspire new business ventures and various government reforms. He encourages readers to come up with even better ideas. His main aim is to inspire people to think of solutions instead of enduring the political status quo we've faced for decades.

What I liked most about the book was the detailed research that went into it. Although I found the historical facts interesting, I did find them to be overwhelming at times. There was no part of the book that I disliked, nor did I notice any typos or errors throughout the book in terms of editing.

Rising's focus on good planning, honest work, and citizen empowerment provides hope amid the nation's challenges. I definitely recommend this book to American citizens who want to contribute to positive change. This book is also a great read for anyone who's worried about where America is headed. It's both interesting and will leave you thinking. For these reasons, I give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars, as there were no significant flaws in the book.
