[Following is a volunteer review of "Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book" by Kalliope Barlis.]
Are you a golfer trying to get better at your game? Are you a golf enthusiast with the intent of becoming a golf player? Are you a big fan of golf? If yes, then this book, Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book by Kalliope Barlis, is definitely for you. What makes this book different from regular sports handbooks?
Play Golf Better Faster Handbook was written out of experience and research by the author. Kalliope Barlis is no ordinary golfer; she is well experienced and very intentional about the game. Gathering her experiences in the game, she decided to put forward this amazing masterpiece. This book contains step-by-step guidelines and approaches to self-improvement in the game. What's more intriguing about it is the infusion of Neuro-Programming Language, which is the basis of her theory. The “big catch” here is that your performance is largely dependent on your mindset. The advice given by the author is not limited to the game of golf alone; it can be applied to our daily activities. The book also contains vivid illustrations, which can help the readers visualise the instructions. Even better, there's advice for both left-handed and right-handed players. This book is divided into three parts titled “Using Your Brain,” “Practicing Golf,” and “Playing Golf,” and each part has chapters under it.
This book contains all shades of good. I found absolutely nothing wrong with it. The book's title suits it perfectly. The length makes it interesting. I had anticipated the book to be boring because it is about the game of golf; however, I was impressed with the author's style of writing. I can finally conclude that golf is not boring after all. I look forward to reading the other book by the author titled Play Golf Better Faster: The Classic Guide to Optimizing Your Performance and Building Your Best Fast.
I rate this book five out of five stars. As stated earlier, I found nothing to dislike about the book. I found no errors in it, indicating that it was exceptionally well edited. I applaud the author for writing a book that can be understood by both golfers and non-golfers. I recommend this book to golf players, golf enthusiasts, and people who intend to venture into the game. People interested in good books would also find this book interesting.
