Review of Niching Up

[Following is a volunteer review of "Niching Up" by Chris Dreyer.]
In Niching Up, Chris Dreyer provides expert advice on running a niche business. Chris explains the pros and cons of niching in a company and provides personal examples of running his successful SEO business, rankings.io, for personal injury attorneys. He also explains how the success of this business had led him to create other business content, such as podcasts, to expand his clientele and network.
Although he provides personal examples, Chris does not write it in a "salesman" way but rather as someone truly trying to help others at the start of their business journey. Throughout the book, Chris also writes in a simple but efficient manner to explain why one should niche in their business. The chapters are very well written with few editing errors throughout. This shows that he not only puts the focus on his niche business but on everything he does, leading the reader to further trust him in the business advice offered.
Although I am not looking to start a business anytime soon, the book seemed helpful and I would read the book again when the time comes. I do think that for someone who is at a more advanced stage of their business, this book might not be as helpful. The book seemed more of a way to convince someone why they should focus on a niche for their business. If someone had already decided to start a niche business and what that would be, the book might not be as advantageous. The book could serve as a reminder and motivation for someone to continue their business.
I would highly recommend this book for beginners in the business world. I would rate Niching Up four out of five stars and think that Chris Dreyer lays out the perfect advantages for someone looking to start a niche in their business.
