Review of Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book
You are the universe. That’s how Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book by Kalliope Barlis begins. Feelings can change by changing the way you think. Confused if this is still a self-help book for golf? Yes, it is! The book is divided into three parts. Each part focuses on a unique aspect of golf. It begins with how to use your brain to get what you want.
Being sensitive with the club, the putt, and the hole is critical. The book highlights the importance of practice. Practicing without any motive or clarity is useless. The author guides the readers step-by-step on how to practice to win. Kalliope became a professional golfer in two years. The author uses her experience to teach the readers about golf.
The author motivates the readers to be strong and fearless. In the final pages, the writer provides illustrations of all the golfing shots. It shows the proper and improper way to do it. I was intrigued by the pictures. It was simple and easy to understand. The amazing concept of 15:5 blew me away. You have to read Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book to know about it.
I have already read Kalliope’s classic guide to golf book. This one is a standalone book for amateurs to learn golf. The concepts are clean and easy. Even a child can understand these concepts. It inspired me to take a golf club, go out, and try playing golf. The author's fresh perspective created a whole new world inside golf. Kalliope brilliantly explained the technical concepts of golf. Internal strategies can transform your game. You will know about it after reading Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book. This book’s ideas and techniques are useful to other sports as well.
The author wanted to show the readers how to play golf through illustrations. Though it is a great practical idea, the illustrations were given at the end. The readers must flip back and forth between theory and drawings. It would be better if theories and illustrations were side-by-side. This was the only thing that I disliked. Other than that, this book is a hit!
Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book easily gets 5 out of 5 stars from me. I don’t have enough reasons to reduce the rating. This book is professionally edited. I encountered only one error. I recommend this book to people who long to play golf and don’t know where to begin. Also, people who want to try something new can benefit from Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book.
