Did you know that, in golf, practicing how to hold the club correctly for 15 minutes will ensure your hands work in unison with the club? Also, when you practice how to rotate at your hips to sense weight shifts from instep to instep, you'll learn how to better maintain balance during your swing. "Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book" by Kalliope Barlis (not to be confused with his other book, "Play Golf Better Faster: The Classic Guide to Optimizing Your Performance and Building Your Best Fast") is a golf guidebook that will turn you into a professional-caliber player within two years if you follow its tips like the ones mentioned prior. The book is structured into three main parts: "Using Your Brain," "Practicing Golf," and "Playing Golf," and each of these sections is packed with techniques, practical strategies, and good tips you can use while playing or practicing golf.

One reason I highly recommend this book to golf players is because the content inside it is deep and comprehensive, covering a wide range of topics from mental conditioning to specific golf techniques. The author doesn’t just skim the surface here—he delves deep into the intricacies of each topic, providing detailed explanations and practical exercises. For instance, it gives tips on how to adapt to different course conditions, such as sidehill lies, uphill lies, and downhill lies, offering practical tips that can be immediately used on the course while playing. I found this book to be good for both understanding and application.

The book is well organized and easy to understand. While there is some NLP jargon (NLP means "Neuro-Linguistic Programming," and the author applies it in this book), the author takes care to explain all these terms thoroughly. The book stands out for its comprehensive and well-written content, practical application, and clear presentation, and I rate it 5 out of 5 stars for that. There may be a few technical limbos here and there, but there are no negative aspects to warrant a lower rating. The editing was of exceptional quality.
