This book sufficiently details the events of 2022. What drives its existence is the fact that the author realizes that she can write short summaries of major events in the news. This led her to write a whole book inspired by the idea. Think 2022 and think of any major event in the year, and I guarantee you this book covers it too. Well, it is safe to say that the year 2022 was filled with content. This author follows the news very closely, most times daily. She writes information from every major news story and decides to turn it into a book. Read In Plain Sight: 2022 by Susan Mallett to discover all the major events of the year and discover nostalgia like never before.

Aside from the news that she writes about, I like how the author makes her analysis on the side. She does not just write the news; she has. There is a great sense of what is going on in these nations. The author is from the UK, but she is still able to capture news from around the world, from the USA to Russia to Asia, and sometimes even Africa. I like her analysis of the invasion of Ukraine and the COVID-19 vaccine. She writes in a non-imposing manner, but even at that, you can still hear her voice in the texts.

In terms of editing, this book is perfectly edited. It bears no editorial flaw, which just speaks well of the author's ability to deliver a perfect job. I found nothing to dislike about this book, and I don't think there is anything one could hate about it.

I rate this book five out of five stars because I found nothing to dislike about it. It deserves this rating for its ability to capture the year 2022 in essence. I recommend this book to anyone who wishes to look back on the year 2022, as this book will serve as their ultimate guide.
