Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book by Kalliope Barlis is a compact and insightful guide targeted at golfers of all levels of skill who want to minimize time spent on game improvement. Barlis holds an individual viewpoint about the sport, being a certified Master of Neuro-Linguistic Programming as well as a professional golfer when combining psychological techniques with practical golfing recommendations.

The author makes quick, effective changes to establish a better golf game. Barlis believes that the mental game of golf is as important to perfect as the physical refinement of techniques. The author explains NLP techniques for clearly setting goals in mind, visualizing success, and staying focused under pressure. These mental strategies are laid out simply and are thus easily understood and applied. Barlis doesn't burden the reader with too much information at any time, breaking his suggestions down into concise, easy-to-follow tips that one can use right away.

These chapters are short and focused, ranging from how to set up perfectly at the ball for that perfect shot to swing mechanics and routines for consistent putting.

Barlis also includes practical exercises designed to reinforce the mental and physical techniques discussed. These exercises are simple yet effective, encouraging readers to integrate the lessons into their regular practice routines. While concise, one of the strengths of this book is that a few readers might want more depth relative to, for example, full-scale golf guides. Ultimately, Kalliope Barlis provides a very practical yet engaging guide for the golfer toward efficient play. The author, focusing on strategies of the mind combined with exact tips, says this book will be invaluable in any golfer's library. Implementing these styles has shown positive results in my golf game.

Overall, this book gets a solid 5 out of 5 stars from me. The book is professionally edited, and no grammar issues were found. I had nothing negative to point out, and the book was an enjoyable read from start to finish.
