There is a secret to success in every aspect of life, and people often fail simply because they have not yet unlocked it. The same applies to the game of golf. To be a successful golfer, you need to unlock the secrets of golf playing, and that is why you greatly need this book, “Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book” by Kalliope Barlis. In this short but powerful book, the author shows how golfers can combine and work with their brain, mind, and body to achieve the best results in golfing in the least possible time.

This book is divided into three parts: Using Your Brain, Practicing Golf, and Playing Golf. In the first part, "Using Your Brain," the author introduces neuro-linguistic programming as the only technology that creates lasting change. By changing the way you think about and visualize golf playing, your outcome in playing golf is changed forever. I believe this is the topmost secret. Here, Kalliope greatly details how you can align sights, sounds that are sweet, and feelings to achieve the result you are looking for: becoming the best golfer.

In the second part of the book, "Practicing Golf," the author highlights that you have to be dynamic in your practicing. You have to experiment even as you are implementing all the exercise steps listed in Part One of the book. Your final goal and main focus must be to reach your target. Additionally, the author showed how one can practice to gain mastery of golf playing. And then my favorite part is the last part of the book, "Playing Golf," where all the hard work you have learned in the first and second parts of the book comes to light. You have to put in your best, knowing that the sole purpose is to put the ball in the hole!

I love how inclusive the book is, using layman terms to carry both professionals and new players along. The note for players, especially the note for left-handed players, showed that the book is perfect for everyone who wants to be a successful golfer. The clarity and simplicity with which the author writes are commendable, and the book follows with ease and can be easily assimilated. There is nothing I dislike about the book; it seems professionally edited, as I found few grammatical errors.

Due to everything already discussed, I rate this book five out of five stars. This is a great book for sportspeople, especially golfers. It trains you and inspires you.
