'Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book, From Weekend Golfer to Pro Golfer in Two Years' by Kalliope Barlis, who has a background as a professional golf player and has been a professional golfer as well as assisted multiple PGA and LPGA players. She is also an expert in neuro-linguistic programming and has over 20 years of experience. The book is a derivation of the classic guide for golf written by Barlis. The book is supposed to be carried around while playing or practicing golf.

Non-golfers think that golf is a straightforward game. You have to hit the ball and put it into a hole, which is not the case. There's a lot of mental gymnastics that goes on when a golfer swings his club. Apart from this, there are various aspects like the position of the player, angle of swinging, point of contact, and much more. The author has written this book in 3 parts. The first part discusses NLP and how to use your mind to improve your skills. Following that, the next section provides several practice suggestions, and the final part discusses the application of all the suggestions during gameplay.

The book covers all the major topics without going into too much detail. The integration of illustration makes it easy to refer to while playing or practicing the game. The language used is layman-friendly, so even a novice and professional can equally benefit from it. One thing that makes this book stand out from the other golf guides is that the advice and tips are not limited to golf but apply to various aspects of life.

There is nothing that I didn't like or hate about the book. It's well-written, engaging, and insightful, and the editing is done flawlessly, as I didn't find any typos or grammatical errors throughout the book. Due to all of the above reasons, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I would recommend this book to those who are beginners or amateur golfers and are seeking to enhance their skills.
