[Following is a volunteer review of "The Solution is Political Revolution" by Jillion R Rising.]
This book, The Solution is Political Revolution by Jillion R. Rising, takes us down a journey of self-discovery while emphasising human beings' true, inherent nature. He discusses how politicians and big organisations manipulate America's financial system. He emphasises how the political parties fight not for the betterment of the less fortunate but for power. He also details how different laws passed into the nation have caused more harm than good, like the mortgage system's introduction and the gold standard's abolishment. In his writing, he also questions the integrity of the media, shedding light on the possibility that most information given out by journalists might not be facts, thereby wrongly influencing people's judgement. In this book, the details include the amount of work and research the author put into this work, such as how he listed the names of agencies and corporations, like the Central Bank, lobbyists, etc., and how they affect the economy.
There are so many things that impressed me in this book. The first is the detailed manner in which the author explained the problem. The author went through history and stated the issues point by point. I like that the author did not just stop there; he also explained how to fix these issues, offering hope in the face of these challenges. The author details how specific policies have affected the lives of Americans. These details contributed wholly to the overall presentation of the book.
On the downside, the book contained a lot of research and came off as boring. But this is fine as it delivered its intended purpose, helping the author delve further into a deeper analysis of the topic. Concerning the book's editing, it was well-edited, but I noticed minor errors while I read.
This book was generally well-written and constructive. I learned a lot from it, and for this reason, I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to lovers of politics and economic development.
