[Following is a volunteer review of "How to be a SuperStar Salesperson" by Audri White.]
"How to Be a Superstar Salesperson” by Audri White is a very insightful book that provides realistic tips on how to sell. The book’s strong point is its professional approach to teaching crucial sales skills that can be utilized by anyone regardless of their level of experience as a marketer, salesperson, or anybody else who would like to communicate better through pitching skills. The book's alignment with its title offers readers an abundant source on how to make effective pitches for products and services that win over clients, thereby ensuring successful deals. The use of typical examples such as SPIN and FAB techniques by the author gives the book more worth since they are complexly set out but simple when implemented.
This book also excels at reminding us about listening and building rapport with prospects. Instead of assuming that they should dominate conversations, the author argues against this popular belief, claiming that listening to find out what a client needs is important if one wants to make an appealing pitch. These skills can be used practically in real-life situations, which are illustrated using cases between characters such as Mike and Mr. Smith. These practical examples have been given, hence showing their relevance in application leading to better results. Besides being just useful for selling purposes, it also serves as an overall communication guide.
The presentation of this book and the perfect work done in editing it is worth mentioning. Even those without business knowledge can find it comprehendible enough. I love that the author can take complicated sales strategies and transform them into actionable steps. This is a testament to the role of writing in improving people’s sales skills. This book contains theory and practical suggestions for building library collections for professionals.
I would rate this book five out of five stars due to its comprehensive and practical approach towards sales mastery. Complex sales techniques such as SPIN and FAB are broken down into simple concepts that anyone at any level can use.
I recommend this book to anyone who wants to improve their salesmanship or communication skills. I have no dislike for this book.
