In “E M P Honeymoon” by Dorothy May Mercer, the main characters are Tom and Kelly, who are newlyweds. And instead of a conventional honeymoon, the couple gets themselves into an adventurous mission to stop insurgents. The novel presents their romantic escapades alongside the action-adventure genre with great characters.

Kelly and Tom, on their honeymoon in Honduras, choose to go wander around for a while independently. Kelly is out to buy some gifts when she finds a secret lab inside a store known as The Pigsty. Deciding she has seen something sinister, she is chased by an unidentified individual. Kelly reaches out to her brother, Senator Mike McBride, and he assigns his security team, headed by Cynthia, to do so. Surprisingly, the shop is actually the location for enemy missile strikes against North America. As the CIA, Space Force, and McBride's team collaborate to neutralize the threat, the question remains: are they able to prevent the attack from occurring? But to get the answers, this cybercrime thriller is what you have to read.

What I liked about the book was the manner in which the story started. I also liked the conversations between the characters, especially how the heroes and villains behave towards each other. It was rather amusing the interactions between the tyrant and his sidekick. I must also note that the author possesses a skill of storytelling to the extent that descriptions are elaborate, full of action, suspense, and humor.

As far as I am concerned, I have no complaint at all about this book. It was exceptionally well edited; I did not find any grammatical mistakes. Due to the good storyline and educational value, it deserves a 5 out of 5 stars rating.

Overall, I would like to recommend this book to readers interested in crime novels, thrillers, and romance. It would also be of interest to servicemen and servicewomen, as the story entails the foiling of terrorist attacks.
