Superhighway by Alex Fayman is an interesting sci-fi/fantasy novel. It is the first book in the Superhighway series. As the title suggests, the novel centers around a super fast highway. I would preferably call it a hyper fast highway for lack of a better word. This is because this route can take you from California to Switzerland within a couple of minutes.

Alexander Fine was raised in an orphanage. He was even named by one of the orphanage administrators and had no clue about his parentage. After three unsuccessful adoptions by the age of ten, he decided to live out the rest of his days at the orphanage. The day the orphanage received brand new computers from a benevolent donor, Alex's life changed forever. He discovered that he could navigate through time and space using a computer plug. He also realized that he could access, download, manipulate and recall all data available on the internet. This new found knowledge and power takes Alex through some interesting and sometimes dangerous tracks, all to the thrill of readers.

I would love to say I absolutely enjoyed every minute I spent reading this book even though the last third of the book was way more interesting and revealing. Except for his ability to travel and navigate through the internet, Alex is a very relatable character. From his time at the orphanage to his days as a want to be robin hood, I found his actions, decisions and struggles very real and relatable. Under similar circumstances, I would most likely be Alex. This goes true for practically all the other characters and I would like to give the author credit for this great work.

The book was well written and I found no grammatical errors. The author seems to be a well traveled person. His description of the various settings are very detailed and comprehensive with a personal touch to it. This is especially true for his description of Holland. I actually felt like I was there just going through the description.

I would recommend this book to everyone especially Lovers of sci-fi and fantasy. It is an interesting book with a blend of romance, action and twists and turns. You would be intrigued towards the end of the book with some very interesting revelations. I would rate Superhighway by Alex Fayman 4 out of 4 stars. I can't wait to read the second book in the series.

Superhighway sounds intriguing! The ability to travel through the internet (bypassing security and passwords) is a unique plot! Your review makes me want to read the book, particularly due to your comment, "I would love to say I absolutely enjoyed every minute I spent reading this book."

Great if the humans would pass through the network cable and travel different places across the world , life would have been entirely different. hope you enjoyed the book
