We are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a compelling entry into the realm of fantasy fabrication, blending magic, political conspiracy, and character development into a witching narrative.

The story follows Galen Bray, who escapes the war- torn Land of the tycoons to inherit his late uncle's forge in the vibrant megacity of Magnum Caelum. Tysz adroitly crafts a world where magic and political maneuvering intersect, presenting a rich shade of conspiracy and suspension.

One of the book’s strengths is its active world- structure. The detailed description of Voulhire, along with its complex political geography, immerses compendiums into a realm that feels both fantastical and palpable. The chart included at the launch is an excellent addition, abetting compendiums in navigating the complications of the setting.

Tysz’s depiction of Voulhire’s magical and political systems adds depth to the story, making it more engaging. Character development is another highlight. Galen’s trip from a war- sick youth to a burgeoning blacksmith is well- portrayed, and his relations with characters like Rowan and Lord Eldus add layers to his growth. The book’s binary focus on particular and political conflict enriches the narrative, making the stakes feel high and particular. Despite its strengths, the book can be laggardly- paced at times. The intricate conniving and the preface of multitudinous characters might be inviting for some compendiums , taking careful attention to keep track of their colorful places and connections. still, this complexity eventually contributes to the uproarious of the story.

The book is excellently edited with no conspicuous crimes. The language is accessible, and the plot is well structured, maintaining good interest throughout. I hereby rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

Overall, We are Voulhire A New Arrival Under Great Skies It’s recommended for lovers of fantasy who appreciate detailed world-structure and character-driven stories with its engaging plot and well- drafted setting.
