[Following is a volunteer review of "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz.]
We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is an amazing book that delves into a world of magic, adventure, and action. The story follows Galen Bray, a character who flees his war-torn homeland and embarks on a journey to Magnum Caelum in Voulhire. Galen starts anew after inheriting his late uncle's business. This is a fascinating book that transports readers into the intriguing world of Voulhire.
I enjoyed this book as it presents an enthralling portrayal of the world of Voulhire, offering readers an amazing experience. It portrays numerous positive attributes, such as the bond between family, as Galen's late uncle did his very best by hiring Rowan to find Galen to offer him a better life as an atonement for his years of being absent in the lives of his family. The sincerity portrayed by Rowan was amazing because he ensured carrying out his duty by finding Galen as requested by Galen's late uncle. The book also portrayed the Alderman family's harmony and love as his wife and kids accompanied him on his mission in Hillport, as well as the wisdom and tactfulness demonstrated by King Wilhelm Arcolo. Also, Lord Eldus Alderman's determination to restore the city amidst the challenges experienced was amazing, and I liked the bond between Galen and Rowan. The portrayal of magic and its various forms adds to the narrative and showcases the author's skill in writing a richly detailed world as well as the suspense-filled narrative, as it had me anticipating what would happen next.
There was nothing about this book that I didn't like, as it was exceptionally well-written and edited. Given the previously mentioned factors, I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
It is my delight to recommend this book to readers who enjoy reading books about magic, intriguing plots, and fantasy.
