[Following is a volunteer review of "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz.]
"We are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz is a captivating science fiction novel that explores the journey of Glen Bray. The story begins in the Land of the Princes, where twenty years of war and chaos have reignited. Glen Bray's escape to the Kingdom of Voulhire leads him to discover a surprising inheritance: a steel forge business, which was willed to him by his late uncle. This book immediately captivated me, and I couldn't stop reading until I was halfway through. It's a thrilling adventure filled with various emotions and supernatural elements.
This book transports us to the fantasy realm of Voulhire, where the Emperor of Lullabies' strategic gift of four islands to his sons has ignited a ceaseless war in the Lands of the Princes. As refugees flee the conflict, they disrupt Voulhire's cities, prompting the king to restrict immigration and maintain order in the kingdom.
This captivating fantasy novel seamlessly weaves together various plot threads, providing readers with a comprehensive and immersive experience of life in Voulhire. It was like I transported to the Voulhire world, joining Galen as he embarks on his journey to learn the trade of blacksmithing and explore Voulhire. The book features a variety of characters with different experiences, making for a captivating story that effectively combines various themes. I really liked the book. While I'm unsure about the exact time period, which seems to mix medieval and Victorian elements, this didn't bother me at all.
While reading “We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies," I encountered no grammatical errors or typos. It was flawlessly edited and well-written by a professional. I didn't find any negative themes and nothing to dislike in this book. With these, I give this book a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 stars. This book contains content of pedophiles, rape, and sexual activities. I strongly recommend this book to mature readers who like epic fantasy, magical elements, and adventures.
