Review of Reconfigurement

[Following is a volunteer review of "Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
From a financial consultant with a master's degree in financial planning, E. Alan Fleischauer writes to us a guide to working our way through the complexities of retirement and post-career life. While this book is easy to read, the content is constructed around professionally informed concepts from real-world experience. The book focuses on security as well as fulfillment. It also offers both theoretical notions and practical tips.
Fleischauer opens with the importance of the topic at hand, masterfully grabbing the reader's attention, and then sketches out some key concepts related to his proposition, such as personality tests. Utilizing investment strategies, healthcare benefits, and estate planning, among other factors, he draws up an outline for a personalized and efficient retirement plan.
One thing I like about the book is its directness and conciseness. There is no beating around the bush. Another strength point here is usefulness. He doesn't leave the readers with a heap of theories but rather equips them with an inventory of practical tools. I also like how the author focuses on each person's individuality while tackling such a sensitive topic.
There's little to be said about adjustments when it comes to this book. However, the underlying humor might not be to the taste of all readers, but that's a matter of preference. I personally didn't mind it and saw them as refreshing. Other than that, I doubt any other criticism will be on the negative side.
I recommend this book to people in or approaching their retirement phase, family members who have retired parents, and finally, social workers or professionals working with the elderly. The author's expertise, writing style, and approach make this book a valuable resource on the topic.
I give Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer 5 out of 5 stars. As I mentioned in the review, there are no negative criticisms. The text is highly readable and error-free—a mark of professional editing. The book is well-structured with clear and easy-to-follow sections.
