[Following is a volunteer review of "Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a book that passes knowledge on planning in our lives, income protection, various long-term care insurances that exist, social security programs, investments, and various assessment tests.
I enjoyed this book as the author added jokes to each chapter in this book that made reading the book quite fun because it made me anticipate the kind of joke included in the chapter being read. This book passes great knowledge on financial plans, such as planning for retirement to have enough to rely on after retiring. It emphasizes making long-term care insurance plans to enable the provision of care when aged for ourselves or loved ones, and also making finances available for travel and fun plans for an individual as well as the significant other, as the author thinks that we should try travelling and engaging in recreational activities when aged. I gained knowledge on various types of long-term care insurance and the various functions they have; I never knew of the terms "disability insurance" or "death benefits" until I read this book. This book also passes knowledge on different assessment tests to engage in that would give an individual a better understanding of him or herself, such as work values assessment and career assessment. The author also included links for each assessment, thereby making it easier to engage in each assessment test.
I found nothing to dislike about this book as it was exceptionally well-written and well-edited. Given the previously mentioned reasons, I rate this book a 5 out of 5 stars.
It gives me great pleasure to recommend this book to individuals who want to gain insights on steps to engage in to plan ahead to enable a financially stable life before retirement plans and to individuals who just want to acquire knowledge of what this book has to offer.
