A fast paced crime thriller that will indulge you in totally from the first chapter till the last one and never let you get bored. It gives you a chill in the spine and also a tour through the mind of the characters; a story that keeps you guessing about who could be the mystery stalker, his intentions, and how the story moves forward joining every piece of the puzzle right at its perfect place making the story unparallel like any other is "Faults" by Orion Gregory

It is the story of two friends Milena and Sydney and how their life twirls in the field of friendship, betrayal, the consequences of their decisions, impact of their mental health in their personal and professional life along with the plot of the mysterious stalker is a whole package. The struggles of Sydney's life for making a living out of her passion and the hardships that come with it are enhanced by a stalker that alters Sydney's life to many extent. A series of events that increase the stakes for Sydney's security regarding uneasy encounters, and threats led to mental distress that not only affects her relationship with other people but also her professional area yet her spirit of not giving up and not letting the stalker enjoy winning shows her bravery. The story showcases layers of conflict and a shadow of danger that adds a dramatic essence to the theme.

I liked how the story reflects some irony. It starts with depression and how it lies to us yet Milena found answers to her life. Another irony is the Odollam tree seeds which are cautioned as toxic and poisonous but to Milena, it symbolizes the element of relief and peace. Additionally, the contrasting life of these two friends, Milena who chooses her way to end struggles, and on the other hand Sydney who fights through her fear anxiety, and challenges of professional life. Furthermore, the base of the plot, the whole game of tennis serves the greatest irony. Just like the unpredictability of this game signifies the tension between the stalker and Sydney. How both of them try to guess each other's moves and plan their next move is what keeps the reader intrigued.

The unique writing skill of the author does not let you down at the end. Throughout the plot, the author maintains the suspense which is applauding. The great character development of Sydney and Milena is commendable. The author weaves the friendship through a realistic touch of jealousy, insecurity, and mental health issues to the character. The author's expressive writing involves the reader in feeling the paranoia, and anxiety that is going on in Sydney's mind when her safety gets compromised by a stalker. The story is designed in such a beautiful way that the number of times the reader tries to link any character with the stalker leaves them in surprise every single time and leaves them questioning the identity of the mystery person The author does a great job in overall presenting the story and keeping the readers engaged till the end.

I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars as it serves as one of the best crime thriller books. This book is a must read for those who are searching for thrillers or suspense to enjoy. I absolutely loved the book and will recommend it to anyone but readers over 13 as the book opens with suicide and has a sense of depression. The professional editing gives a smooth errorless pace to the book which is praising.
