How to be a SuperStar Salesperson by Audri White is a non-fiction guide to improving sales techniques. The author introduces the CAPI system for sales, which stands for connecting, affirming, permission, and inform. Furthermore, the author provides some additional techniques for a successful sales call, which allow the salesperson to get to know the situation the client is in and give a solution to their business problem.

The author uses easy-to-remember acronyms such as SPIN and FAB to help salespeople remember the key points of selling their products or services to potential buyers. They provided several examples per topic of successful ways to implement the concepts, which I found helpful. I appreciate that the author uses examples from different situations and careers so that all salespeople and readers can relate to the examples. The author emphasizes honesty and truth in sales. Clients need to trust that their salespeople are providing honest facts and meeting their needs at a fair price. I value the author's inclusion of this crucial moral concept in sales.

I found nothing to dislike within this book. The author states that this book can apply to all professions, as everyone has to "sell" a pitch at their job at one time or another, and these techniques can be used in these unorthodox sales situations. The guide is relatively short- the author describes it as a "pocket trainer" and does not include repetitive concepts like other sales guides I've read, which I appreciated.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. The book is well-edited, as I found no grammatical errors within the text. The author provides a condensed yet effective sales guide for those just learning the sales game, those who may find themselves in a rut or need a refresher, or the average reader who can use these concepts in their career to help sell their bosses on an idea or concept. I recommend this book to anyone interested in becoming a more effective salesperson.
