Review of The Date Farm

[Following is a volunteer review of "The Date Farm" by Jack Winnick.]
The impact of terrorism on the world has never been good, and these groups of individuals mostly commit this inhumane act as a result of religious differences, fighting for power, and many other reasons. The consequences of such acts have always cost many lives, which we can read about in the book The Date Farm by Jack Winnick.
The book starts with a heartbreaking attack that leads to the death of over 50 individuals and leaves many injured in a Los Angeles mall. Iranian terrorists who had carried out this operation had killed themselves to leave no trace, and there is no reasonable motive why this attack was carried out in the mall. Lara and Uri, who were on vacation in Ohio, had to cut their vacation short to investigate these terrorists, only to find out that the communications of the United States, which includes satellites, had been compromised. Also, two banks in New York, namely the Federal Reserve Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank, had been seized by these Iranian terrorists. This leaves many questions, and from reading this book, we find out if Lara and Uri can find the reason for and aim for these acts.
The Date Farm is an action-packed thriller book that is engaging. I found the scenes, plot and timelines to be accurate and organized, thanks to the author's creativity. The couple Lara and Uri were really interesting characters. However, I was sad for them when their vacation as newlyweds was cut short. I also like that this book, the fourth book of the series, can be read independently. The author's description of various locations was very vivid. This book makes us understand a lot that we were not aware of happening while we were at home. I enjoyed reading about the challenges the FBI and other agencies faced, which shows how complicated terrorist attacks are.
I disliked no aspect of this book; this is evidence of a job well done, and I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. Kudos to Jack. The Date Farm will suit anyone who loves books with suspense, action, mystery, and many more. I did not encounter any errors while reading it, which proves it was perfectly edited.
