Christmas is a time filled with love, joy, and gifting. It is also a season when families come together. In this book, No Sense Christmas Poems for Children, written by M.J. Cousins, we read about 25 original Christmas poems that help bring the holiday spirit to life. This book features 25 original Christmas poems that beautifully express much about the Christmas holiday.

We enjoy the poem "The Letter to Santa," about helping those in need. Another poem that stood out is "Echo The Elf and Charity the Dog," which tells the story of a little Elf named Echo and how he saved a little dog he named Charity, and this talks about showing love and kindness. In this book, you will meet various characters, including Santa, elves, well-behaved children, friendly animals, and many more. Other poems, like "The Letter By An Elf On The Shelf" and many others, add to the interesting festive poems by M.J. Cousins, which bring the Christmas season to life.

No Sense Christmas Poems for Children is a unique poetic piece that explores the themes of love, family, gifting, and many more. It stands out in content, and I like the descriptions and flow of the poems in general. I love that the author used words that would be easy for children to comprehend. The book has rhymes that teach children a lot about poems, and this would be a fun experience. The book makes children long for Christmas, and I also appreciate the nice pictures added throughout the book. I must commend the illustrator for a great job. I also love the general aim, which was centred on Christmas, and the book would impart a lot of moral lessons to young children.

I did not dislike any aspect of this book, and I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. The editing was also good, which shows that it was well-edited. I recommend this book to families with children aged five and above, as it would teach them a lot and give them a nice ideology about Christmas.

What a heartwarming review! I love how you highlighted the themes of love, kindness, and giving that run through the poems—especially ‘Echo The Elf and Charity the Dog,’ which sounds absolutely touching. It’s wonderful to hear that the poems are not only fun but also easy for children to understand and learn from. And with illustrations too? Sounds like the perfect book to cozy up with during the holidays! Thanks for such a detailed and festive recommendation—I’ll definitely be adding this to my Christmas reading list!
