[Following is a volunteer review of "No Sense Christmas Poems for Children" by MJ Cousins.]
No Sense Christmas: Poems for Children by M.J. Cousins
I had the pleasure of reading, No Sense Christmas: Poems for Children , and my final and honest rating is 5 stars! It was a wholesome read containing beautiful reminders within, of what Christmas spirit is truly about. The essence of always doing your best to help out when you can and operating out of kindness, are a couple great messages sprinkled throughout each poem. I definitely will be reading this to my toddlers when I get my hands on the physical copy of this book. I also love how there are interactive activities for children to do while they read along with their parents. Not only are your children learning about the spirit of Christmas, but they are also able to engage in a more hands-on way through the suggested activities. For these reasons, as well as the very unique inclusion of poems dedicated to our elves on the shelves, I adored this poetry book and gave it a well-deserved 5 star rating. Not to mention the perfect editing. Who wouldn’t want to curl up with their kiddos and their elf on a shelf, to enjoy a few cozy Christmas poems?
