Every responsible person can understand the innate responsibility that comes with motherhood. However, attaining financial freedom is important for every adult who wants to contribute to family life and society. Entrepreneurship is a way for mothers to key into their responsibilities and still attain financial freedom. However, this process can be life-changing and comes with its own risks. Entrepreneurship: 5 Best Practices for Stay-At-Home Moms Who Want to Start an Online Business by Joy Jennings is a book for mothers that simplifies the complications that come with starting a business while balancing it with motherhood responsibly.

This is a book that provides insight into what it looks like in the world of a mother, ranging from family commitment to the intentional act of leaving her comfort zone. This book meticulously discusses the process of transforming an idea into a viable business using online platforms. The five best practices were discussed under subsections like vision, research, tools, organization, and finances. The author further shares tips from very successful women who have built and developed their e-commerce while harmonizing it with family life. This is a book you shouldn’t miss out on.

Firstly, I love this book for the authentic, well-outlined, and relevant information it contains. I learned a lot from the historical information on women’s rights on August 18th, 1920. I just got that knowledge from this book for the first time. I love that this book to a large extent dealt with every form of fear a new mother would possibly encounter while venturing into the path of entrepreneurship. I commend the author for including her personal stories and experiences, including the stories of successful women. This will not only make this book’s content relatable, but it will also inspire and motivate readers who are considering the option of becoming an entrepreneur.

There was absolutely nothing I disliked about this book. This book was well organized and excellently edited such that I could not find any errors in it. The author's writing was skillful, easy to comprehend, and appealing to mothers.

With nothing against this book, I will rate it a 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to all mothers who desire to break out of their comfort zone and to all lovers of nonfiction books.
