Review of Cross Intents

[Following is a volunteer review of "Cross Intents" by Scott Wells.]
I hurriedly picked this book up to read after reading the first part because I was sure that I wouldn't be disappointed, and truly, I wasn't. S.R. Wells really did a thing again in this book, Cross Intents: The Baptism. Just like in the previous book, the author made sure to give biblical statements, and to the best of my ability, they are synonymous with the scriptural wordings and did not fail to include the passage for intrusive minds like mine.
The rebellion and some battles to kill the baby king were captured in this piece. This book was much more interesting than the first one, maybe because it was straightforward and had more action than the first one. I cannot tell, but all in all, the author did a very good job in creating this masterpiece. Though I got confused about when Herod sought to kill the baby king, it was still fun trying to decipher and patch up my scriptural lag, and I resolved to read the scriptures more often.
This book taught me additional things. I came to realize that the battles I can face when anticipating a blessing are way less than those I will face when I finally get the blessings, because what are all those attacks the baby king got? Secondly, even without reading this book, I've been convinced that a demon possessed Herod from the biblical version because why would someone in a sane mind do what Herod did to children?
I love this book and everything about it: the storyline, the plus and minus, which the author used to guide my thoughts, the scriptural references, the baptism itself, and a lot more.
I'll rate this a five out of five. I have absolutely no dislikes about the book. I recommend this book to Christian readers. I did not notice any errors while reading this book.
Special thanks once again to the author. I'm definitely interested in the third part of the book, I trust that I won't be disappointed.
