The subheading, Connecting Humans and Technology the Way It Was Always Meant to Be, summarizes the theme of this nonfiction book by Yarrow Diamond. There is a revolution between humans and technology, which can be a “blessing” more than a “curse.” If leveraged to benefit humanity, technology can enhance our lives and, for example, maximize our relationships with business. Today, every aspect of our lives is closely tied to technological advancements. Technology can be used to grow and gain power.

Another example she uses is the benefits of technology that provide comfort and efficiency to people worldwide. Smart devices have automated households. Business software enhances businesses' relationships with their customers. Error is reduced as both small and large businesses apply technology that improves their services and products. Data is stored in cloud computing, making it easier and safer for everyone. However, we must work to supervise the potential negative impacts or side effects of AI.

Diamond dedicates some of her information to the creation and use of AI. This phenomenon is crucial to the growth of humanity and technology. The positive aspect of this book, which is aimed at a general audience, is its support for the use of AI in small businesses. I am creating a small business using ChatGPT, and I consider it a team member, rather than a simple machine. Although Diamond does not specify this, she hints that AI is equally important to our professional and social lives.

The negative aspects of HumanITy were its terminology, which made it difficult for me to understand; however, she consistently provided clarification. This slowed my progress through the book. Nevertheless, it has been professionally edited, and I found no errors; therefore, I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed her writing style and her commentary on how technology has revolutionized our lives.
