George Washington Deal-Maker-In-Chief: The Story of How the Father of Our Country Unleashed the Entrepreneurial Spirit in American, written by Cyrus A. Ansary, is excellent example of in-depth research into an individual and his abilities as a leader in the economic sphere, as well as the political arena. Indeed, the author was extremely thorough in the ability to express his opinions of Washington in a very easy to read format perfect for students of history or those interested in George Washington.

The overall biography covers George Washington and his ability to strive and surpass the economic issues of early American History and bring those experiences to the forefront in order not only lead a nation but also improve the economic and political wellbeing for the United States. The author also expresses those difficulties mentioned above in very detailed fashion that also provides for a deeper understanding of this challenge facing Washington at the time.

The author and editing team have done a marvelous in keeping the reader involved in the material in such a way, that it was very hard for me to walk away from the book. There are seemingly few places where there were any editing mishaps, and very few misspelled words. There were, however, a few choices for words that might have been made smaller and more common, such as the use of the word “coin” instead of “specie.” These types of words are not entirely recognizable, and therefore, I did have to look up the word “Specie” in the dictionary. This may have been one area in which the author could have improved the overall book, so that those who are not familiar with these word choices might better understand what the author is trying to explain.

Nonetheless, the rating that I would give this book is 4 out of 5, for the excellence of the content, and very few words misspelt throughout the novel, with a deduction for using words in some areas that are not completely recognizable to a general audience. I truly enjoyed this book, as a great source of information. This is a highly recommended book to those readers that are interested in Early American History, George Washington, or a student of history as a field.
