Review of Cross Intents

[Following is a volunteer review of "Cross Intents" by Scott Wells.]
Reading cross intents felt like flipping through a fictional story and more like sleeping into a spiritual and psychological battlefield - one where truth, temptation, and transformation collide. This book hit me deep. It's the kind of story that challenge the way you see not just the world around you, but your own walk with God.
If you haven't read the first two books in the trilogy (The Birth and The Baptism), I'd strongly suggest starting there, because cross intents picks up right where things left off - with tension, with purpose, and with no apologies.
I loved that this wasn't a fast, surface-level read. it demanded attention. There were chapters where i had to pause and reflect, not because it was hard to read - but because the truths inside were so real, so personal, I had to sit with them. That's rear for a novel.
Cross intents shook me. Not because of flashy drama or plot twists (though there are some!),but because it reminded me that faith is lived out in the details - in the choice, in the struggles, in the moments no one sees. It'sa book that challenges, convicts, and leaves you thinking long after the last page,
