Review of Robot: A Deadly Love Story

[Following is a volunteer review of "Robot: A Deadly Love Story" by Cathy Parker.]
Having read this book, Robot, A Deadly Love Story by Cathy Parker, I became numb. A lot of thinking went into producing this storyline.
This story teaches about obsession, love, trust, betrayal, and even deceit. I saw Cassidy, the main character, as a young woman who had a lot of potential; too bad the book ended the way it did. Alex was the perfect gentleman who stayed by Cassidy and had his own share of adventure in the story. Loren? She was such a manipulative character. I can go on and on about all the characters, but I wouldn't want to spoil the fun. Lorbar created a robot named Sam and, indirectly, a villain, and trust me, the most ridiculous thing happened, though I saw it coming.
I had questions, some of which are still unanswered, but it's fictional, of course, but I wish I had gotten answers, just like the thing Cassidy felt with Shannon. I really wish the author had factored that in.
Losing everything: herself, her pet, her boyfriend, and other unending episodes of misfortune? Nah, Cassidy is a strong character, I must say. I tried putting myself in Cassidy’s shoes. How would I feel when my long-desired dream turns into my most dreaded nightmare? What would I do if my loved ones were used to threaten me? How would I cope with the various traumas and still end up showing up and being dedicated? In all, I knew she was a determined one; no one can tell me otherwise! And the little heroic act Sam pulled up for Cassidy? I loved it! I loved everything about this book.
From the prologue to the epilogue, though I didn't like the way the book ended. The book was well edited, as I could barely find any errors. I give this book a five out of five rating. Though the author didn't give me the ending I longed for, it is now a part of my favorite books. I recommend this book to all readers.
