The non-fiction novel Roadmap to the End of Days, by Daniel Friedmann, illustrates the connection that the past, present and future have, and he does this through biblical references. Through out the novel Friedmann focuses on the end of days and makes a correlation of how certain religious events that have occurred in the past, and some of the events that are currently cccuring, have lengthened that time. Though most of what he refers to in the novel are negative, he also incorporates some of the positive events that have and can lengthen and lead to the world from reaching or not reaching the end of days.

The fact that the author, Daniel Friedmann, started of the novel by comparing history to a maze, really got me to understand where the novel was going to go. By doing this he was able to help me understand the argument that, the paths we take can either makes us closer to the end or farther away from the end, and that is exactly what happens in a maze. I thought that was a very neat way to clear up the purpose of the novel form the get go. I also like how the novel was arranged in different sets, each in chronological order. The heading in the novel also helped me get an idea of what I was going to expect.

What I did not like about the novel though, was that there were times where Friedmann was referring to many biblical events in history at fast rates, so sometimes I found myself pausing and trying to make sense of everything. Other than that; however, the novel was great!

I rate this book a 4 out of 4 stars since it was well reasoned, and because all those reasonings were being backed up by biblical references. Not only that, the book itself was very well thought out and engaging. In most cases the author would mention a point, back it up, and then go an additional step and further explain what he was trying to get at with all that. This I thought was a job well done, especially since the novel itself is based around a proposal.

There was no gramattical errors, and everything was well organized, and easy for the reader to read. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested in the events that have shaped our history and ways that our future is depended on our present, and to anyone who is into religion!
