If you hurt someone bad enough there is almost nothing that they wont do. Bobby and Pollo are two deceives who are desperately trying to end a streak of very gruesome murders in their town. As more and more death occurs Bobby begins to question the line between good and bad. He is a loving father and devoted husband but he soon discovers that the lengths in which someone will protect their family is far beyond what he could imagine.
This book honestly and truly blew me away. I will admit that I was quite skeptical at the beginning and could not really get into it for a little bit but once I passed that 50 page mark I devoured this book. There were some great cliffhangers as well as unexpected surprises. I promise if you just stick it out at the beginning you will not be disappointed with the ending.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars for being extremely compelling and well written. Finn Bell was able to really bring you into the world and make it seem like you were really there with Bobby and Pollo. Each scene and each different setting was so well described that i felt as though I was seeing it. He also always kept readers guessing. Just when you think that you have figured it out, there is another twist which makes you never want to put the book down.
You begin to fall in love with each and every one of the characters and that is one of the reasons that this book was so very heart wrenching. Finn Bell was able to show multiple sides of each character so even when you think that you hate a character you will also being to feel compassion for them.
I will admit that some of the scenes in the book are very descriptive and very gruesome. If you are not a fan of murder and gore I would not suggest reading this. But if you love a good murder story with some thrilling crime I would highly recommend!
Overall this book was one of my favorites that I have read this year. It had a fair share of murder and thrill but also included friendships and romance. It was a great mix and I would read this book again just to really understand little details that I may have missed during my first read through.
