I would give this book a four out of four stars. This book is one of a series of books in the series Serendipity Mystery. In Diary Of A Snoopy Cat it follows a cat, her family and friends as they solve crimes as part of a detective agency started by the main character, Inca. In this book Inca and her family are on vacation and a crime comes to their attention while on vacation on an island. The cat, her family and friends have quite the adventure and there are a few suspenseful encounters with people and other animals. The book also teaches the reader that working as a team is rewarding and more enjoyable than doing something alone.

Inca meets new animals and friends during the vacation which adds a lot fun to the story and gives the reader a chance to imagine all these different types of animals communicating together, working together, and becoming friends. There are some funny comments in the book, such as when Inca's sister sitting in the shade to protect her fur from getting sunburned. I thought this was pretty funny and I related to it as I sunburn easily.

The book is a very entertaining book for young children. I would love to read this to or with my child when he is old enough to enjoy it. The book has a great mystery to solve and provides a lot of descriptive details for the readers imagination to see in their mind.

I really enjoyed reading this book as an adult. It was fun and entertaining. The artwork in the book was fun and not too excessive. I always find pictures in books to be fun and helpful if the reader likes to take a look at what the author had in mind as far as characters looks and to reflect the descriptions of the characters and places that are described in the book.

I would recommend this book to young children and to their parents to get them as gifts to read. If your child enjoys a mystery and animals such as cats and dogs working together then this is the book series for them. This book was a good length for the age group and was an easy read. I would like to read the other six books in the series as this one was a great read. Your children will enjoy it and it would be a great book and series to read as a family.
