Heartaches 2 is the second book of the Bad Boy Vibes series by H.M. Irwing of its series and it continues from where the writer stopped in the Heartaches 1 novel. In the first Book, the main characters were dealing with finding justice for Anna which they quickly learned it is not as easy as they thought. As they tried to find justice and keeping their enemies away, they find out things unfurling which may be a downfall of their unstable and blooming relationship.

Heartaches 2 is the transition of Anna Simmons and Rafael Luis Brown relationship into a strong one as the people whom their dark past is concerned are back and have teamed up to keep Rafe and Anna apart but unlike book 1, what keeps them together is the friends and allies they have surrounding them as they embark on their revenge mission. Soon secrets will emerge and some relationships will be revealed. But will the past consume them or will it free them?

I love the way the author expresses himself in the aspect of Pat's homosexuality. The sequential actions in the book are so interesting as it moves freely without the plot being forced. While reading I was so absorbed in the story as the new secrets were being uprooted. The characters in this book are very interesting especially Pat, whose gayism made things a little funny as he eyes Rafe even though Rafe feels jealous of his relationship with Anna.- The irony.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The grammatical errors in the book are close to non-existent as it was clearly edited. It was entertaining and humorous. And it was surely suspenseful and there is nothing I would say I dislike about the book.

However, the erotic scenes in the book might not be appropriate for underage readers. For those matured interested readers in romantic novels, this is the one for you. Also, the theme of Homosexuality in the book may be uncomfortable to some traditional-minded readers so I would advise you take precaution when choosing this book.
