In Pursuit of The Pale Prince by Mark Wallace Muguire is a science-fiction/ fantasy book. It is a wonderful story filled with excitement from the beginning to the end. The story is about a young boy, Arestus who travels to distant lands in order to fulfill his father's dying wish and thus saves a kingdom. The Southwen and the Northern kingdoms are about going to war against each other but there's one symbol that can unite them, the crown of Ellesund. Arestus knows where it is and he is the only one who can deliver it to The Pale Prince as wished by his late father. As young as he is, he takes courage and fulfills his purpose.

The book takes us on the journey and we learn from the many challenges Arestus encounters. It is such a great book that gives kids in particular a character they can actually relate to and join the adventure and even emulate the character's behaviour since Arestus is just an average boy who chooses to be brave. In the story, we get to meet his new friends and even share in the wisdom they impart. In Pursuit of The Pale Prince by Mark Wallace has adventure and action to keep every reader entertained.

The title of the book intrigued me into reading and reviewing it because I knew definitely there was something interesting in it. Science fiction/fantasy is not my cup of tea but I had the urge to try it out. Well, after quenching my thirst for reading it, I must confess that it was worth my time. The book was more than what I expected and that kept me into high spirits of reading it to the end not wanting to put it down unfinished.

I liked this book because of many reasons. First, the format used is fast moving and the language used too is wonderful. Secondly, it has great character development and likable characters as well. This made my reading more enjoyable just like it would do to any other reader who loves such great books. I had no reason to hate the book because Mark Wallace, the author was persistent in his pursuit for adventure, action and amazing scenes of imagination and hope.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because it was professionally edited in that it had few errors almost to zero and the language used was exceptional. I wouldn't do the injustice of rating it at anything less than that because it had a great character development and a fast moving format was used. This book is suitable for all ages especially those who enjoy stories of kings and archers and heroes who go on a quest to fight for things they believe are still worth fighting for.
