My Life on the edge as an International Fugitive
Dan "Tito" Davis with Peter Conti
This is a book which makes you sit on the edge of your seat, and make you wish that you could finish the book in one go. Tito is an International Fugitive. He is fairly intelligent and keeps bouncing back even when life throws different problems at him, one after another. His main aim in life is to stay "free" and "have a stable life", he keeps following this "myth" but never gets to achieve this state. The book ends when Tito lands in a 10 years jail sentence.
One point of philosophy always saved Tito: when he hit on low point, he was immediately looking for the next high. Basically, I noticed a pattern in the book through all the narration by Peter Conti, about the life of Tito.
He starts a scheme, earns a lot of money due to his intelligence as well as due to his unique thinking pattern.
But this pattern breaks down eventually and he gets charged where he loses his family, business and most of the time, modality of bouncing back. Here, Tito shows that he is Tito and he does come back, each time. This also get repeated over many countries and finally Tito gets a long sentence where the story ends.
I will put this novel among the top bracket and will rate it by a 4 Out of 4.
