This book is wonderful in many ways. E.R. Barr is obviously a very talented writer. The way in which he is able to introduce legends,myths, and folklore into his storyline is amusing,including his writing style.

I agree that Barr's introduction of legends and his writing style is great. He has also pieced Roan together into a credible Hero's Journey that I didn't want to put down.

His style is very youth-ish, and apt for bringing in legends and myths as you said.
I am yet to complete the book, just, had some servings here and there!
