I agree that most would not choose this due to blood and killing, but in some vamp stories you don't have to kill to feed. You can drink quite a bit, leave a good memory and the human walks away tired and confused...I guess it would be a case of which type of vamp I would be from which type of stories I have read, films I have watched.

So yeah I think I would want to be vamp, limitless access to the world, no time limit on which to see things. In my vamp head I wouldn't need to kill to survive but drink plenty I guess. Extra strength, better vision and hearing, the odd supernatural elements. Since I already avoid sunlight that is no major loss to me :lol2:

The only downfall I kinda see is not being able to age and die with who I love....but I may just make my boyfriend a vamp too.....It's a thought :)

I would want to be a vampire mostly for the powers and strength, like you. The ability to run a mile in 4 minutes and have powerful enough legs to out lift Strong Man competitors would be the highlight of it for me. The ability to do spells and feed off of people's souls would be a bonus. Then again, it would be really bad to not be able to swim or enjoy the sunrise and sunset, but it would be worth it (to me at least). I don't really have any qualms about the "killing humans to survive" part in light of these things, but that's just me.

To cross genres and wife Stan Lee, "With great power, comes great responsibility." ( Uncle Ben Parker in "Spiderman")

I would not want the responsibility involved in deciding who should die.

For a long time - I've had a thing for vampires! However I dont necessarily want to be one!

To be around for so long - watching everything else around you pass on - because of shear immortality.

Definitely not. Vampires are weird creatures and I wouldn't like to become one. ;)

yes i wouldn't mind being one. In fact, I would like to be a hybrid(half vampire, half werewolf) like Klaus Michelson from the originals. It would so useful to have a hybrids traits.

The answer will be ,absolutely!. Being a vampire would be a delightful and valorous experience.Drinking blood should not be a reason to hold back as we can always enter the blood banks without being noticed(putting powers to use for survival). Even people die everyday and everywhere ,so there shall be no need to go on a man hunt.Last is the gift of immortality that comes with a curse of watching the loved ones die.The solution to this can be getting our head chopped when we feel like dying.
Now lets turn the spotlight on what can be achieved with superhuman strength, speed, everlasting youth and immortality just to mention a few of the lot.Strength can ensure safety in today's dog eat dog world not to forget it an be used for national security also.A vampire with proper mind training might also make a perfect spy contributing to nation's benefit in multiple domains.
Everlasting youth and charm forces others to unlock the doors of resistance inviting you into their personal space and giving an opportunity to make them feel better.

No, I love the sun too much (though I like to appreciate it the most while sitting in the shade, or looking out my window).

I'd have to agree with Eric. It would be an amazing experience to ba a vampire but I'd rather keep myself (and my loved ones) from being hunted because of what I had become. Plus, getting stuck with immortality while others are not wouldn't be a great experience. Imagine being alive for hundreds of years after all your friends and family had died. That would be a very lonely life. So yes, I think I'll pass.

I have never wanted to be a vampire. Yet it does sound interesting. This is because I would not be okay with killing other people and also don't want to die and come back to life.
