I think I would like this novel as a movie, but movies either leave great moments out or change characterizations a little to make it more movie-like. I would go to see it if only to compare it to the book and see if they left it alone.

I think with the CG abilities of today's cinema, a film adaptation could be pretty good, but I'm not certain any director could do it justice without a HUGE budget.

I think that while it's difficult to do a good book justice in film form, with a great director and a significant budget for effects it could be a great movie.

Yes the book is amazing so i believe it would make a great movie , and that idea is amazing since it would be more accessable.

I quite agree with commentators who think that converting this book to a movie will not leave the plot exactly the same way.
