Once I slapped my senior who was teasing my younger brother and my father saw that. He knows that I love my brother a lot so he didn't say much to me.

At my police academy graduation, I remember my name being called on stage. My father was standing at the front of the stage with his uniform on. I stood in front of him as we saluted each other, and he pinned my badge on me (which was my grandfather’s old badge). My father then looked at me with tears in his eyes, lifted me up in the air, and spent me around. When he finally put me down, he said he was so proud of me. This is a memory I will never forget.

Friday nights eating crabs on our back porch while listening to baseball on the radio. Not a life changing thing, but sometime the small things are what really stick with you after someone is gone.

Being the first-born, I was the pet of my father. I am with him biking, riding a horse, hunting birds, fishing in rivers or climbing mountains (or just hills). The only drawback, when I go with him on parties in the rural areas, I have to stay awake all night while he socializes, or go drinking. The countryside is a good place to roam.

I would sit outside on the front porch and keep checking up the street to see him walking home from work. As soon as I would see him I would literally run to him with opened arms and he would just scoop me right up! I love my Dad !

My father was and still is my first Superhero. Being an introverted child, he introduced me to books. Basically showed me new worlds and adventures, that the extraordinary is possible.

I don't have memories with my father when I was a child. But 1 thing I won't forget and will treasure is when he walked me down the isle on the day of my wedding. When he reached out my hand I literally cry and have to pause for a few minutes to stop crying. His never been there when I was growing but he never stop supporting me from afar.

I only met my father for the first time as an adult. So, I guess that was the most memorable experience.

My most memorable time with Dad was when he told us that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. I was able to comfort him for the first time instead of the other way around.

What immediately came to mind when I saw this question was my dad chasing me in our neighbourhood with a cane...I can imagine what I must have done.
