You an I, tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.
When you have done, pray tell me
That I my thoughts may dim;
Haste! lest while you're lagging.
I may remember him!

I also gave it 3 out of 4 stars when I wrote my review on it. It was an interesting read... but I was disappointed by the second book and gave up on ever reading the third book. How about you?MarisaRose wrote: ↑01 Apr 2017, 10:42 After finishing Raven's Peak, what is your overall opinion and star rating?
I enjoyed the story, I thought it started out strong and the pacing kept me going, but I had a hard time connecting with/liking some of the main character. I also wish the ending had been a little more satisfying! (Even though I understand it is the first in the series.)
Overall, I rate Raven's Peak 3 out of 4 stars and look forward to the next installment.

I thought the book was great overall and gave it a 3 out of 4 stars. It's true Abigail wasn't fleshed out in the beginning until we got to know her story. I described her as a black Lara Croft type of heroine. Since I'm an action fan, I really got into it and enjoyed her personality. She did her job well!Bartleson2018 wrote: ↑17 Aug 2019, 22:11 I am another reader that feels the beginning showed a lot of promise. The book constantly kept a pace but I didn't feel connected to Abigail.
