I don't believe in them myself. I think that blaming evil spirits for evil acts takes the responsibility from our hands.kandscreeley wrote:I do believe in evil spirits. I don't believe they are responsible for all evil but definitely some.

I am the same and have to encounter a spirit to believe it.AGillbooksaretreasur wrote:What a thought provoking question. I am the type of person who has to see something like that to believe it. It is not that I lack trust, I do not want to think that any person could be possessed by an evil spirit. I have read of witnessed evil possessions and I don't want to suggest it has never happened, but I would have to see it to believe it as well as an exorcism.

However, there are plenty of suspicious or strange incidences which science or psychology can't explain, so I don't know; anything can be true. One thing I'm sure of though, is that if there are evil spirits, then I surely don't want to meet one, even for the sake of proof!

I agree. We should hold only ourselves responsible for all our actions.gali wrote:I don't believe in them myself. I don't want one of those experiences. I'm happy to believe without one! I think I'd probably pee my pants (or worse) if I did have some type of experience.MarisaRose wrote:I have never been a big believer in ghosts, spirits, demons, etc. Most people I talk to that do believe in these things only do because of a specific experience they believe they had with a spirit.
